Although the dishwasher is fully automatic and do anything on its own there are no guarantees that the job it does is a good one. There are many ways to make a dishwasher more effective when it comes to cleaning.
- Using hot water is the most essential thing if washing dishes in the dishwasher. But the temperature shouldn't be below 55 degrees Celsius. The soap, grease, grime is dissolved best when the temperature reaches these degrees. On other hand the dishes are best sterilized on higher temperatures.
- Every respectable professional cleaning services experts would tell you that the dishes should be rinse with water from any food remains before put in the dishwasher if you want to achieve perfect results. So put the dishes under running water and scrape off any food excess from them.
- Use powder cleaning detergents instead of gel detergents. Gels are way harder to rinse off and are not as effective against the grime in hard water. So just to be safe use powder detergents.
- The dishwasher is designed to clean the drink and dinner ware but as it is with any other kitchen appliance in the house it also require cleaning from times to times. Put two cups of vinegar in the dishwasher and run it on an empty washing cycle to get it cleaned and disinfected.
